Peter Pan

We have just come back from the most outstanding, amazing, incredible production of Peter Pan! The costumes, the music, the dancing, the acting was all so tight, so very well done, that I just HAD to tell you about it!!!!

And here is Captain Hook…

Tyresta National Park

Despite the fact that it has gone down to 5+degrees, we braved the cold, and went off to Tyresta National Park today.

We only had a couple of hours before we had to be at a theatre production, so instead of going on a forest hike, we kept to the kid’s story time in the “museum”, lunch in the old cafe, and a walk down to the little farm and play park.

Growing Things

Spring is in the air, and of course, with it comes growth! We really want to make the most of our garden this year, so we are starting with our green fingers inside…

Easter Sunday!

The Easter bunny was very ecological this year, and the kids were presented with decorated egg boxes containing dyed halved egg shells with chocolates and marzipan animals inside…

Down by the farm

Another beautiful Spring day, so we decided to visit a local working farm to see some baby animals. We were lucky enough to see 4 day old calves, as well as some very young lambs.

Not to mention chickens…

and horses running wildly from their field to the stall, regardless of anyone standing nearby!!! Swedes are not obsessed with “health & safety”! Despite this, I only managed to get a photo of the calmest, slowest horse, and the only one walked to the stall by the farmer!

As we were walking back from the farm, we discovered some exercise equipment near the forest – we all just couldn’t help having a go, along with a few other curious families!!

On the way home we found a traveling “tivoli” in Tyreso, so the kids all had a quick ride!
