A Fairytale Forest

My brother and his family arrived from England on Friday, staying for a week – my niece loves fairies, so we decided to go walking in Tyresta National Park – what can only be described as a magical fairytale forest – perfect for the building of fairy houses!

Over 5 km we passed rushing streams, mossy hillocks, pine trees, lakes, ‘crocodile’ swamps and tree stumps galore…

Ferns make a great roof covering!

Meanwhile Leon and uncle Andy play pooh sticks...

Will the fairies visit tonight?

Alfie enjoys the 'crocodile swamp'...

Mystical forest indeed!
