In the above case, collecting blocks of ice became a very important task.

So I decided to set up a little ice and salt experiment which I had seen somewhere on pinterest. Containers of ice, bowls of different coloured salt, and blue coloured water with pipettes..

Alfie mostly enjoyed using the pipettes and observing the flow of colour run through the ice blocks. Teddy just loved piling on the salt, and mixing, mixing, mixing!
It’s quite wonderful seeing how the ice slowly melts…
